Unpaid volunteering and internship opportunities opportunities at the Ministry of Public Health
The Ministry of Public Health offers volunteering and internship opportunities for citizens and residents under certain conditions for the following categories:
- High school students (Volunteering)
- University students (Internship)
- University graduates without experience (Volunteering or Internship)
- Specialists with experience who are not currently employed by any entity (Volunteering)
- The volunteer/internship opportunity is unpaid and does not guarantee a job offer or mandate an appointment at the ministry.
- A certificate of volunteering/internship is awarded after successfully completing the volunteering/internship period.
- The duration of the volunteering/internship for students (school or university) is determined according to the official request sent from the academic institution.
- The duration for graduates and specialists is from one to three months only.
Those who are granted the opportunity to volunteer or intern must commit to adhering to the policies and regulations of the Ministry of Public Health. If a volunteer or intern does not comply, the ministry has the right to terminate the opportunity before the end of the specified period.
Behavioural Standards for Volunteers and Interns:
- Ethical commitment and respectful treatment of others.
- Maintaining a decent and modest appearance that conforms to local culture and the ministry's standards for modest dress.
- Not exploiting privileges (such as access cards to the ministry, phone, computer, etc.) for personal goals or purposes.
- Maintaining the confidentiality of work information and acting responsibly towards it and maintaining the ministry's reputation.
- Commitment to the days and times of voluntary work/internship and seriousness in performing tasks as required.
- Not receiving visitors in the ministry building for non-work-related purposes.
- Adhering to any safety guidelines at the Ministry of Public Health and reporting any risks or concerns to your supervisor immediately.

- A copy of your valid ID card.
- A copy of your graduation certificate (for university graduates and experienced specialists).
- A copy of your resume (for graduates and experienced specialists).
- An official letter addressed to the Human Resources Department at the Ministry of Public Health from the educational institution (school - university) stating the student's name, ID number, duration of volunteering, required hours, and specialization. (For school and university students)
We assure you that at the Ministry of Public Health, we consider all applications carefully and provide equal opportunities for everyone. However, submitting an application does not necessarily guarantee an opportunity for volunteering or internship.
